PolicyWorks, LLC, a provider of governance, risk and compliance solutions, has made a self-assessment tool for business continuity planning available to its U.S. credit union clients and partner league members at no cost. The tool is a response to credit union leaders who as the pandemic began were concerned their business continuity plans had not been built for the unprecedented crisis ahead. Since launching on April 8, more than 115 credit unions have registered to access the self-assessment tool, which the firm developed with its governance, risk and compliance technology platform, ViClarity. The assessment takes between 30 and 90 minutes to complete and provides the user quick tips throughout the experience. At the end of the assessment, users receive a color-coded report with green, yellow and red highlights to signify their cooperative’s level of competency in various aspects of BCP. PolicyWorks clients and partner league members have until Sept. 1 to access the tool for free.
