On Saturday, Aug. 22, from noon to 3 p.m. the West Des Moines craft spirits company will hand out one free 8.45-ounce bottle of hand sanitizer to students who drive by the distillery at 111 S. 11th St., Suite 100 in Historic Valley Junction. There is a limit of one free bottle per vehicle, but additional hand sanitizer will be available to purchase. “We were thrilled we could help so many people back in April when we initially began our free hand sanitizer giveaway.” said Foundry owner Scott Bush. “It was one way we could show our support for the community and customers who support us. We want to make sure students are safe this fall, and this seemed like a great way to once again step up and do our part.” To-go cocktails and Foundry Distilling spirits will also be available for sale during the event.
