Skate DSM launches with skateboarding clinic, contest
A new nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that skateboarding is celebrated and accessible launches with a new stake clinic and contest on May 4. The Skate Clinic and Fourmile Showdown! Stake Contest will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fourmile Skate Park, giving interested residents an opportunity to try skating before the downtown Lauridsen Skatepark is completed. Skaters interested in participating are asked to pre-register online.
