U.S. News and World Report releases annual national university rankings
The University of Iowa is ranked at No. 88 in the top 100 best national universities by U.S. News & World Report. The Iowa City university sits in a nine-way tie for the slot, which includes the University of Denver, Stony Brook University-SUNY and Marquette University in Wisconsin. U.S. News & World Report ranks Iowa State University at No. 118, also a tie among six universities, and Drake University at No. 124, in a tie among nine universities.
