Food Bank to distribute food to 1,500 families through Des Moines Mobile food pantry

The Food Bank of Iowa will distribute boxes of food to people on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. The boxes are free and available to any families, children, seniors, veterans or other Iowans in need. Food boxes will be placed directly into cars to ensure safe distribution. Cars are asked to enter the fairgrounds from East 33rd Street and University.
