The Iowa Department of Transportation is planning closures on Interstate Highway 35 in Warren County as crews work to remove the Fillmore Street bridge over the highway beginning Monday, May 17. According to a news release, the nighttime construction will require closing I-35 from the Iowa Highway 92 interchange to the Iowa Highway 5 interchange from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for up to two nights in each direction through Thursday, May 20. During the closure, traffic will be detoured around the work zone by digital messaging boards and with marked detours using Highways 5, 28 and 92.
