Kate Hightshoe has joined QCR Holdings Inc., the parent company of Community State Bank, as assistant vice president and diversity officer. She will be based at Community State Bank’s Johnston branch. For several years, Hightshoe has served at the forefront of diversity, equity and inclusion work in corporate settings while also serving as a community leader in diversity and inclusion. She recently received the Certified Diversity Professional designation from the Institute for Diversity Certification. She serves on several boards, including her role on the board of directors and chair of the Community Impact Committee for Bravo Des Moines. She previously worked as director of Hubbell Community Management. Community State Bank is based in Ankeny with locations throughout Central Iowa.
