West Des Moines-based Foundry Distilling Co. is launching Okoboji Vodka, the first brand in Foundry’s Heritage Collection of spirits developed to celebrate the people, places and events tied to Iowa. The idea was developed by Foundry founder Scott Bush, who grew up visiting the Iowa Great Lakes and previously co-founded Templeton Rye Whiskey. Foundry Distilling Co. will launch Okoboji Vodka with an appearance at the Pearson Lakes Art Center event “Booze, Books & Business” Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
