He has more than 30 years of information technology experience including infrastructure development, project/resource management and information security across several industries. Before joining Heartland, Mochal was the chief technology officer supporting the Wells Fargo Asset Management business, and the chief architect for J.P. Morgan Retirement Planning Services. Mochal, a certified Project Management Professional, has a degree in information systems from Iowa State and an MBA from Rockhurst University in Kansas City. Heartland Financial is a diversified financial services company with assets of approximately $12 billion.
