The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission approved the final rules for the state's initial run at sports betting at a special meeting today in West Des Moines.

Des Moines Register: The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission approved the final rules for the state’s initial run at sports betting at a special meeting today in West Des Moines. As of Aug. 15 at noon, people can place bets on professional, college and certain fantasy sports contests.
