Three judges nominated for appeals court
The State Judicial Nominating Committee has chosen three finalists from 16 applicants for a vacancy on the Iowa Court of Appeals. Judge Galye Vogel retired July 1. Gov. Kim Reynolds has 30 days to choose the new judge. The finalists are Tim Gartin, Ames; Myron Gookin, Fairfield; and Julie Schumacher, Schleswig.
