FGL Holdings, a leading provider of annuity and life insurance products with operations in Des Moines, has appointed John Fleurant as chief financial officer, effective Nov. 11. Fleurant succeeds Dennis Vigneau, who previously announced his intention to retire at the end of 2019. He brings more than three decades of finance experience to F&G, most recently having spent nearly 10 years at New York Life, including his most recent role as executive vice president and CFO since 2013. Previously, Fleurant spent 15 years at Prudential in a number of leadership roles. “John is a proven executive and financial leader, and I am excited to welcome him to the F&G family,” said Christopher Blunt, president and CEO of FGL Holdings. “His financial acumen and significant experience at some of the world’s largest life insurance and asset management companies will be invaluable as we continue to build a platform that is uniquely suited to meet all of our clients’ retirement needs.”
