Private Wealth Asset Management, a Cedar Rapids-based independent registered investment advisory firm that launched last fall, announced it has opened an additional office in Midland, Texas. The firm officially launched Sept. 3 with offices in Omaha, West Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, followed by a subsequent expansion into Texas with locations in San Antonio and Corpus Christi. The firm viewed Midland and West Texas as the next logical location for expansion, knowing potential clients in the area had unique needs, including farm, ranch, and oil and gas assets, the company said in a press release. The three new team members at Private Wealth are all native West Texans and have extensive experience in wealth management. They join a rapidly expanding team of about 40 Private Wealth colleagues in three states, led by Bryan Johnson, a former Wells Fargo Wealth regional managing director. Insider: Read a Business Record article about the new firm.
