A series of workshops are scheduled for next month for any community interested in applying for Main Street Iowa designation this year. According to a news release, the Main Street Iowa program will host virtual workshops on Feb. 16, Feb. 17 and Feb. 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. Communities that are interested in participating are encouraged to pre-register five to 10 community representatives for one of the three workshops. The complimentary workshops will provide an overview of the program and a summary of expectations and benefits. The workshops will also go over the competitive design process and strategies to complete application.
