RDG honored as bicycle-friendly business

RDG Planning and Design, with offices in Des Moines, Iowa City, Dubuque and four other cities, was recently named a Platinum Bicycle Friendly Business by the League of American Bicyclists, according to a release. RDG previously earned a Gold designation from the League of American Bicyclists in 2012 and 2016 and a Platinum designation in 2021. “RDG has a culture that supports healthy lifestyles by providing the incentives and amenities for employees to participate in bicycling activities and commuting,” said RDG’s Judi Brown, in a release. “We actively host bicycle-related events at our offices including spring tune-ups, safety classes with rules of the road training and group rides. Annually, we participate in our state’s bike month events and The National Bike Challenge. To have our efforts recognized in creating a healthier environment for our employees and in turn creates healthier comminutes for us all to live in is such a tremendous validation for our team members.”
