Registration is open for the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s DMDC 2022 trip to Washington  D.C., which returns to its traditional in-person format this year. The trip is planned for Wednesday, May 11, through Friday, May 13. The trip, one of the largest Chamber of Commerce fly-ins in the country, gives local officials an opportunity to promote regional and local priorities and economic development projects with one voice. Participants will be able to meet with Iowa’s congressional leaders and their staff members, as well as network with other Central Iowa leaders. “The Partnership is excited to provide our investors and members this opportunity to return to Washington, D.C., in person and to engage in important conversations about issues that impact their community with influential policy leaders,” said Andrea Woodard, senior vice president of government relations and public policy at the Partnership. The full schedule will be shared as it is finalized. Participants will be required to follow COVID-19 protocols while on the trip.
