Gov. Kim Reynolds has extended two proclamations giving Iowa farmers more time for hauling overweight loads of harvested grain and for propane delivery to mid-December. The grain hauling proclamation, originally signed on Sept. 30, allowed vehicles transporting corn, soybeans, hay, straw, silage and stover to be overweight (not exceeding 90,000 pounds gross weight) without a permit, for the duration of the proclamation, which now ends at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 13. The provision for hours of service related to propane delivery is extended to midnight on Dec. 14.
