FemCity Des Moines will host its Meet FemCity Des Moines networking event at Jasper Winery on April 21. The event is an opportunity for women in business and entrepreneurial-spirited women to hear from members, according to a release. The panel of speakers includes Michelle Rembert of Momentom3, Julia Hunt of Julia Mae Photography LLC, Kirsten Weiland of Prairie Escape Wellness Center and Wendi Fredregill of Empowered Bridge Mindset Coaching. “It has been a tough couple of years for women in business, and watching as many have turned to the FemCity community for support and encouragement has been amazing,” Erin Huiatt, president of FemCity Des Moines, said. The organization is a local chapter of the international organization and has more than 215 members, according to the release.
