Pearson, who has more than 20 years of community banking experience, most recently joined Liberty National Bank in Johnston as a senior vice president and senior loan officer. He is a past president of the Johnston Chamber of Commerce, a board member of Johnston Economic Development Corp., and has served on numerous nonprofit boards and organization committees. “JP Pearson is a solid banker and a proven leader in the communities he serves,” said Liberty National Bank President and CEO Mike Patrick. Founded in 2003, Liberty National Bank now has $400 million in assets, with branches in Sioux City, Johnston and Okoboji, Iowa; and in Dakota Dunes, Elk Point and Sioux Falls, S.D.
