DMACC will develop the training curriculum and provide faculty to train Kosovar instructors at the Kosovo Energy Corp. facility. The new training initiative will be funded by Kosovo. The agreement is part of a collaboration between DMACC and the Republic of Kosovo to create a new generation of skilled workers in the southern European nation. A year ago, DMACC also launched a multiyear program funded by a $1 million foundation grant in which 28 Kosovo women will earn two-year degrees in energy-related fields at DMACC.
