Van Heukelom has held roles at Des Moines-area companies since 2004. He was director of IT at Foster Group Inc., a role that led him to co-found the spinoff startup Orchestrate LLC, a software development company under Foster Group. Orchestrate was acquired in 2018 by Conga, a California-based software company that provides contract life cycle management services and has $117 million in total funding, according to Craft. ZipBonds co-founder Zach Mefferd said Van Heukelom brings valuable experience in venture capital fundraising and a network of former colleagues “to help build out our technology team.” Van Heukelom has a bachelor’s degree in management and information systems from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration in entrepreneurship.
