Hamilton Redi-Mix in Jefferson has been acquired by Concrete Supply Inc., which has headquarters in both Des Moines and Omaha. Part of the Rasmussen Group, Concrete Supply operates more than 25 plants with 300 employees; Hamilton Redi-Mix was advised in the transaction by BCC Advisers in Des Moines. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hamilton Redi-Mix operates ready-mix concrete plants in Jefferson, Boone and Fort Dodge and has provided ready-mix concrete delivery services in north-central Iowa for 46 years. HRM is in its second generation of ownership, employing about 30 people. “Joining with Concrete Supply will expand our customer base greatly, allowing us to provide quality products and services on even more projects,” HRM President Bob Hamilton said. Tim Mallicoat, CEO of the Rasmussen Group, said: “HRM is a great fit with Concrete Supply, sharing values of providing customers with quality products and outstanding service.”
