Mason City Globe Gazette: Britt-based Hancock County Health System named Laura Zwiefel its CEO/administrator on Jan. 26. Zwiefel has been with HCHS for 28 years, the last 21 years as chief nursing officer and assistant administrator. She replaces Jeff Stampohar, who resigned Jan. 26 after two years in Britt. He took a similar role in Baudette, Minn. HCHS is managed by Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
