The Des Moines International Airport is warning customers about a fake website that is posing as the official website for airport information. According to a news release from airport officials, they are working to remove the fake website, and are advising travelers to only use information found at the official airport website, www.FlyDSM.com. Several other fake airport websites have been identified across the country, officials said in the release. “We want Iowans to be aware of the fake website, so they aren’t misinformed or taken advantage of,” Kevin Foley, executive director of the Des Moines Airport Authority, said in the release. The official social media accounts for the Des Moines International Airport are @dsmairport on Twitter and DSM International Airport on Facebook.
