The USA Science & Engineering Festival is offering a free virtual science, technology, education and math (STEM) experience for students. The X-STEM All Access events will be livestreamed daily on May 13-15 and May 18-19 from noon to 1 p.m. Central time. The virtual programming replaces the annual festival normally held in April. “We have adapted our X-STEM Symposium to this new reality by embracing virtual learning,” said Marc Schulman, the festival’s executive director. “Having top scientists and engineers take their talks online preserves the spirit of X-STEM and enables more youth to hear and learn from these amazing, gifted STEM leaders and innovators.” Among the special guest speakers will be Dr. Anthony Fauci, an infectious disease expert with the National Institutes of Health, and astronaut Jessica Meir. The free programming is presented by pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca.
