The 625-person professional services company came in at No. 23 in the small and medium-sized business category. The Best Workplaces for Women list is determined by confidential quantitative and qualitative surveys on how fairly respondents are treated at their workplace. Great Place to Work also analyzes the gender balance of each workplace and how it compares with the industry they’re in. To be considered for the list, companies must be Great Place to Work-certified, must employ at least 50 women, at least 20% of their non-executive managers must be female, and at least one executive must be female. “What an honor to be on this prestigious list! Our Women’s Leadership Group was formed several years ago because we recognized the need to enrich and elevate ITA Group women in the workplace and our community. Our organization is over 65% female-owned, which means we take care of each other and are intentional in molding current and future women leaders,” Trudy Eaton, ITA Group Women’s Leadership Group chair and sales effectiveness manager, said in a news release. “Being on this list justifies the work Women’s Leadership Group and all of ITA Group has taken to enhance and educate all our women leaders to influence, lift up, motivate and enable each other in our workplace and our communities.” No other Iowa-based companies were on the list.
