Over 74,000 participating Dupaco Community Credit Union members and owners received a share of a $3.7 million bonus patronage dividend for 2022. Participating members received their special payouts Oct. 20. The dividend is a part of the credit union’s nine-month program called the Thank Use. The Thank Use campaign rewards active members for their participation in the credit union. This is the seventh consecutive year a participation dividend has been paid. “Dupaco is more than local. It’s a financial cooperative, owned by people in our community,” said Dave Klavitter, Dupaco’s chief marketing officer. “The more members use their credit union, the more the community and Dupaco benefit.” Dupaco has 153,000 member-owners.
