JT Logistics, an end-to-end supply chain logistics company headquartered in Des Moines, has announced the acquisition of eCommerce Direct (formerly known as Consumer Direct, a division of HP), a Des Moines-based logistics and fulfillment company. eCommerce Direct’s 300,000-square-foot facility in Des Moines will continue operating as a division of JT Logistics. “The direct-to-consumer acumen of eCommerce Direct is a vertical that JT Logistics is intentionally growing; it absolutely compliments our mission to help our clients serve their customers now and into the future,” Jamie Cord, CEO of JT Logistics, said in a news release. JT Logistics has 17 warehouses in the U.S. and more than 200 employees providing warehouse services, trucking, e-commerce fulfillment, staffing and related solutions. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
