Des Moines-based nonprofit organization Count the Kicks will be featured on “Sunday Night Football” this weekend. The organization will be featured on the cleats of three Indianapolis Colts players – Matt Hack, Ryan Kelly and Chase McLaughlin. Once a year the NFL allows players to feature a cause they care about, and the three players picked Count the Kicks, which started 15 years ago to teach expectant parents the importance of and method for tracking their baby’s movement during pregnancy to avoid stillbirths. Count the Kicks is working alongside Every Kick Counts, which is an initiative that helps student athletes learn to give back to their communities through the organization. “It is immensely rewarding for the Strategic America team to contribute to Count the Kicks’ growth over the past 13 years,” said John Schreurs, CEO of Strategic America, which is Count the Kicks’ marketing partner. The organization will be hosting a watch party Sunday night at Big Grove Brewery in downtown Des Moines. Submitted photo
