Children’s Cancer Connection is partnering with businesses and organizations wanting to get involved with spreading holiday cheer to families undergoing childhood cancer treatment. The organization will be matching families this upcoming season. Each year, the Winter Wishes program through the Johnston-based nonprofit serves families across Iowa affected by childhood cancer. Eligible families who are undergoing active treatment are referred from Blank Children’s Hospital and the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Winter Wishes supporters can choose to support one child or more. They do not need to support an entire family. To learn more, visit Winter Wishes.
