Guy Carpenter partners with predictive auto analytics company TNEDICCA
Guy Carpenter, a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist and a business of Marsh McLennan, has entered into an agreement with TNEDICCA, a leader in location-based traffic-crash intelligence and predictive analytics. This exclusive agreement enables Guy Carpenter to deliver enhanced auto analytics to its insurance carrier clients, the companies said in a release. Guy Carpenter will use TNEDICCA’s location risk products for the U.S. personal and commercial auto marketplace to assist its clients in developing ratemaking and underwriting strategies, resulting in a more accurate assessment and pricing of auto risks and improve overall profitability for participating insurers. TNEDICCA analytics leverage countrywide geocoded police crash report data to generate risk scores. Its accident location database of more than 30 million crashes covers 94% of the U.S. auto insurance market, according to its website.
