A hospitality group located in Ohio has purchased property in Clive that includes a six-story hotel, Polk County real estate records show.

Lewis Center, Ohio-based Batra Hospitality Group Inc. paid Ravenwood Highlander II LLC $5.6 million for property at 11040 Hickman Road in Clive, records show.

The property includes the 115-room Clive Hotel, built in 1974. The hotel was converted to an extended-stay hotel in 2005. The building includes 73,419 square feet of space.

The property in 2021 was valued at $1.75 million.

The transaction was recorded Jan. 17.

Ridgeway Holdings LLC, located in Van Meter, paid 1710 86 Holdings LLC $770,000 for property at 1710 86th St. in Clive, records show. The property includes a 7,128-square-foot building in which Barr Bike is located. The property is valued at $710,000. The transaction was recorded Jan. 17.

Convenience Business Park LLC, managed by the Baker Group, paid Knapp Elwell LC $1.3 million for 4.7 acres of undeveloped land on the east side of Southeast Convenience Boulevard in Ankeny, records show. The property is north of the Baker Group’s Ankeny campus, located at 1600 S.E. Corporate Woods Drive. The transaction was recorded Jan. 18.

DALLAS COUNTY
David and Brandy Jensen paid the Thrivent Charitable Impact and Investing Trust and V. Wallace and T. Kern 2022 Charitable Trust $1.29 million for 40 acres of farmland about 2 miles north of Interstate Highway 80 in rural Dallas County, Dallas County records show. The property is about 2 miles east of North Avenue. The transaction was recorded Jan. 11.

AJ Commercial LLC, located in Urbandale, paid Waukee Crossing LLC $1.54 million for property at 185 W. Hickman Road in Waukee, records show. A restaurant called Guadalajara is planned on the 1.6 acres of undeveloped land. The Waukee City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission approved the site plan for the 7,307-square-foot restaurant in October. The transaction was recorded Jan. 13.

Clayton Properties Group, located in Lee’s Summit, Mo., paid Eagle Vista LLC $1.26 million for 16 undeveloped residential lots in the Eagle Vista development in Adel, records show. The transaction was recorded Jan. 18.
