1000 Friends of Iowa has announced the winners of its 2023 Best Development Awards, which honor projects that demonstrate connections between building and project development and quality of life. The awards were given in various categories such as mixed use, renewable energy, placemaking, stormwater management and innovative leadership. The awards were judged by an independent panel of experts and the ceremony was held at the Capitol this week.
