Merchants Bonding Co. has announced Elisabeth Sandersfeld as its new chief financial officer, treasurer and chief risk officer, effective April 3. Sandersfeld previously worked as the vice president and chief financial officer for Continental Western Group, among other companies. She will replace Don Blum, who is retiring on May 1. “I am excited to add Elisabeth’s skills and breadth of experience to continue to build on the success we have had with Don Blum as CFO,” said Merchants President and Chairman Larry Taylor.
