The Iowa Wolves set a single season attendance record this past season, drawing 99,552 fans to Wells Fargo Arena, the team announced Monday. The previous single season record was set in the 2017-18 season, the first year of the franchise. In that season, the Wolves drew 84,729 fans. Iowa Wolves President of Business Operations Ryan Grant said setting a new record is “an absolute testament to the love of basketball our fans in the state of Iowa share for the game and the numerous partnerships we’ve been able to create to bring this next-level NBA talent front and center.” The Wolves averaged 4,148 fans per game over 24 games this past season. In the 2017-18 season, that number was 3,350. The team’s per-game average and total attendance this past season was second in the NBA G League. Only the Texas Legends drew more fans, with a single game attendance average of 5,840, and 140,156 fans for the season.
