Starbucks planned in Norwalk Central development

125 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and Development, Retail and BusinessStarbucks plans on building a 2,225-square-foot full-service coffeehouse on the northeast corner of Iowa Highway 28 and Gordon Avenue in Norwalk’s Hughes Century Crossing retail district, city officials and Diligent Development announced. Construction is expected to begin in late April and be completed in late 2023. “Starbucks is a long-awaited and highly desired entity in this community, so we are thrilled that it’s finally coming to fruition,” Hollie Zajicek, Norwalk’s economic development director, said in a prepared statement. The property on which the coffeehouse will be built is part of Norwalk Central, a planned mixed-use development in the center of the Warren County community that is expected to include retail, restaurants, sporting and recreation venues, and public spaces such as trails, parks and an amphitheater.
