Soccer ball donation kicks off spring soccer in Des Moines

The donation was made possible by sponsors such as Pro Iowa, Kick it Forward and the Des Moines Menace. This initiative is part of the Every Kid Gets a Ball program, which aims to provide recreational equipment to children participating in parks and recreation programs. The program was started following the adoption of the Youth Recreational Scholarship Program by Des Moines Parks and Recreation.
