Fareway Stores Inc., a Boone-based grocery chain, is the latest sponsor for Norwalk Central, a planned mixed-use development in the center of Norwalk. An indoor multisports court at the soon-to-be built City State Bank Norwalk Fieldhouse will be named Fareway Court. Fareway is providing $25,000 for the sponsorship. The money will be used to pay for project-related expenses such as construction of facilities and the purchase of equipment and furnishings. The fieldhouse will include four full-size basketball courts, eight volleyball courts, player’s lounge, courtyard and concessions.
