AIB lays off 17 staff members
AIB College of Business has laid off 17 of its 80 full-time staff members, effective June 8, the college announced Tuesday. AIB plans to close June 30, 2016, and the campus will be donated to the University of Iowa. More layoffs are expected later this year. Employees will receive severance pay. The college also has been informing some faculty members they won’t have contracts for the 2015-16 academic year.
