Dice Holdings Inc. today announced the company has changed its name to DHI Group Inc. The new name better represents the company’s evolution into a diverse portfolio of specialized professional websites and services under one corporate umbrella, it said in a release. The company, which began 25 years ago as Dice, now encompasses other recruiting websites that include eFinancialCareers, Rigzone, HealtheCareers, Hcareers, ClearanceJobs, BioSpace and WorkDigital. The New York City-based company employs 220 people at its Urbandale operations center, according to the 2015 Book of Lists. DHI’s CEO, Michael Durney, will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange today at 3 p.m. Central Time to celebrate the company’s name change; that event can be viewed live on the NYSE’s website.
