The Financial Fitness Group today announced that the Financial Fitness Challenge program will expand to help 5,000 Iowa health care workers through a continued partnership with the Iowa Insurance Division and Iowa CareGivers.

The event-driven wellness program provides interactive, effective, unbiased online instruction in personal finance and investing fundamentals. In the past year, 150 Iowa health care organizations and more than 3,500 employees completed a combined 10,000 hours of financial education.  

“Last year, our efforts helped many Iowa families become more secure financially by becoming better stewards of their money,” said Craig Goettsch, Iowa Insurance Division education director. “We look forward to helping even more Iowans this year.”

The Financial Fitness Challenge, offered free because of support from the Iowa Insurance Division and Iowa CareGivers, is built on an e-learning platform.

The May session of the Iowa Financial Fitness Challenge is now open forregistration.
