The University of Northern Iowa and its multimedia rights partner, Learfield Sports, announced Thursday the signing of a statewide television broadcast partner, WHO-HD, for the Panthers’ 2015-16 athletic season. WHO will televise four UNI football games in the 2015 season; most games will be broadcast on WHO Channel 13.3. In conjunction with the four football games, WHO will air an additional six games to be determined by Learfield Sports and approved by the station. The games will pull from the sports of men’s basketball, women’s basketball, women’s volleyball and wrestling. “We are excited about this partnership and relationship with WHO-HD, and look forward to extensive coverage for Panther athletic events,” said UNI Director of Athletics Troy Dannen.
