The merger of Clive-based McClure Engineering Co. and Trabue, Hansen & Hinshaw of Columbia, Mo., takes effect today. The combined company, with more than 100 employees in seven locations, offers water, wastewater, transportation, aviation, stormwater management, structural and civil engineering. Trabue, Hansen & Hinshaw will now operate as THHinc McClure Engineering Co. It is licensed to operate in 30 states. McClure Engineering will continue to operate under its existing name in all of its markets. Terry Lutz will remain president and CEO of McClure Engineering, and former Trabue, Hansen & Hinshaw President Gene Hinshaw will become market president for THHinc McClure in Missouri. The company specializes in the use of pre-curved, cold-formed steel. Signature projects have included Disney’s Animation Resort and the Port Canaveral Visitor’s Center, both in Florida, and the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
