DART names new communications officer
The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority has named Amanda Wanke as chief engagement and communications officer. She will lead marketing, planning, customer service, advertising, RideShare and mobility programs. Wanke previously worked for the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute, Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn., and U.S. Congressman Gil Gutknecht of Minnesota. She starts the job on July 6.
