Register’s virtual farm video wins prestigious journalism award
The Des Moines Register has been awarded a prestigious Edward R. Murrow journalism award for a first-of-its-kind interactive video, “Harvest of Change.” The project, published last fall, told the story of an Iowa farm family using emerging virtual reality technology and 360-degree video that resembled modern video games.
