Clive residents happy with their man-made spaces

Based on a survey, the National Research Center Inc. said Clive has received the Voice of the People Award for Excellence in Built Environment. “Residents of Clive report the highest levels of satisfaction with built environment compared with all other participating jurisdictions,” according to a release. The award was based on responses to the National Citizen Survey, which asked about levels of satisfaction in the categories of community engagement, safety, mobility, foundations of livability, recreation and wellness, education and enrichment, natural environment, built environment and economy. The award is presented by the National Research Center and the International City/County Management Association.
