Summer Evans, former marketing manager for Des Moines Performing Arts, will be the new marketing and communications director for the city of Waukee.

Summer Evans, former marketing manager for Des Moines Performing Arts, will be the new marketing and communications director for the city of Waukee. Evans, who also worked as a communications specialist for the Iowa Association of School Boards, is a former television news reporter, videographer and fill-in anchor for stations in Iowa and South Dakota. She is a graduate of Iowa State University.
