Foreclosures continued to drop in June

77 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentGreater Des Moines foreclosure dropped slightly in June on a year-over-year basis to 0.94 percent of all outstanding mortgages, real estate analytics firm CoreLogic Inc. said. Foreclosure activity was lower than the national foreclosure rate of 1.28 percent in June but higher than the 0.87 rate rate for all of Iowa. The rate of mortgages that were at least 90 days delinquent dropped to 2.3 percent in June, down from nearly 3 percent a year ago.
