Nominations are currently open for two $2,500 scholarships to be given by the Technology Association of Iowa to the 2015 winners of the Youth Innovation and Leadership and the Collegian Innovation and Leadership awards. Nominations are open through Sept. 14 to women in 10 categories, two of which are designed for females at the middle/high school and collegiate levels. Criteria for both awards focus on academic achievement, leadership, creativity and innovation. The scholarships will be presented on Nov. 12 at the 2015 Des Moines Area Community College Iowa Women of Innovation awards celebration at the Iowa Events Center. More information can be found online.
