Seven startup companies will make their final pitches Thursday during a closing workshop for the University of Iowa Venture School. A nationally recognized program for entrepreneurs developed by the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, Venture School increases the chances of a startup or product launch success by helping teams align their businesses with customer needs. The workshop is open to the public and will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the FFA Enrichment Center on the Des Moines Area Community College campus in Ankeny. To RSVP for the event, click here.
